Easy to find off of a main state highway, you can enjoy the quietness of the country while you relax and recharge. This is a perfect getaway for the avid bicyclist or anyone wanting to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city.

At the edge of The Big Walnut Creek…approximately 2 miles north of the Heart of Ohio bike trail and 20 minutes from Alum Creek Horse Trails and Kayak launch. This 12 acre hobby farm is well known in the area for its beauty and a place to make you smile. Primitive sites are unlimited and 1 adorable cabin is also available for nightly rental. 2 RV sites: 1 with all amenities, 1 with all but sewer. Did I mention our Cowboy Bar? Pets by approval only including horses. Shot records required as we have many animals of our own.

Welcome Stay is a must for visits to Mount Vernon Ohio for family, Keynon College, or Mount Vernon Nazarene University. This Airbnb is a short walk to downtown Mount Vernon and the local Kokosing Gap Trail which is also part of the Ohio to Erie Trail. If you do not have bikes and would like to ride, there are a couple bicycle lenders and rentals in the area.  Snow Trails, Malabar Farm, Mohican State Park, Amish country, and Ariel Foundation Park are a short drive away. Enjoy a short walk to downtown Mt Vernon, and explore some of the local shops. Remember to visit the shops exclusively for cyclists in our Ride for Rewards initiative.
