Bike Lending

Do you know Knox County has three sections of trails which all make up the greater 326 mile Ohio to Erie Trail. With over 25 miles of trails, take advantage of our Bike Lending program and view the most scenic sections of the Ohio to Erie Trail. Take advantage of the miles of scenic bike trails located in Knox County.

Don't have a bicycle or way of transporting one, we got you covered. Check out a bike at one of our Bike Lending Program sites for free today! The Bike Lending Program, is initiated by the Get Healthy Knox County Coalition with funds provided by a Creating Healthy Communities grant from the Ohio Department of Health. Currently there are three bike lending locations, which include Danville Outdoors, Fredericktown Library and the Animal Station located in Centerburg.   

 

The Get Healthy Knox County Coalition’s mission is to create opportunities for Knox County residents to be physically active! Incorporating even a little bit of physical activity into your daily routine can have positive effects on your health!

 

We also welcome non-residents to our communities and encourage you to explore our area. Centerburg is the geographical center of the state of Ohio and the mid-way point on the Ohio to Erie Trail. Sign up for our rewards program and meet the various bike-frendly businesses!
